You play as a member of the Blood Unit, a squad that has the potential to awaken dormant Blood Power. God Eater 2: Rage Burst is set 3 years after the events of Gods Eater Burst. So if you use Julius a lot, he’ll have a lot of AP, but if you’ve left someone like Romeo behind most of the time, you won’t be able to purchase many skills. Like the majority of them, God Eater takes the core principles of Monster Hunter and opts to innovate upon them. A character only earns AP if you use them, and each one will have his/her own balance. Once you make a purchase, it will reflect on that character’s AP balance and you can continue.ĭo keep in mind that AP is not shared between characters. You won’t have to pay any money, but you will have to fork over some of that ally’s AP. You can see what each ability does as well as its ‘price’ in this menu. From here you can select a skill slot (there are 4 at the top for each character), and that will in turn take you to a new menu, one filled with every ability that the chosen ally can learn. Now, choose the one you want to customize and their list of skills and equipment will appear on the right side of your screen.
This will bring up all of the allies you’ve met so far. To unlock these abilities, access the terminal at base (located near the desk where you claim missions), and choose the Personal Abilities menu. These are used to unlock Personal Abilities for each individual character. As you take companions on missions with you, they’ll earn a number of AP upon completion. AP stands for Ability Points in God Eater 2: Rage Burst, and acts like an experience currency for your allies.
